Chapter 1: New Beginnings.

It was now one week after the Finale and one week after Kipwil packed up her family, her house and her team and set off for new adventures.  She had found a lovely cottage to live in, big enough for everyone in a new country called Real World.  It was close to a river that Mermaid Mel knew and visited frequently, and had plenty of bike trails and walking trails.  There was a workshop near by called Inbalance and it had everything that Kipwil could ever wish for.  Hubba Hubba was excited but Kipwil kept looking back at her old home.

" Onward and upward babe, we can do this, you got your gift from Queen Mish?" he asked

Kipwil nodded and turned to look at a treasure chest in the back of the car. Queen Mish had presented Kipwil with the chest just before she left and gave her strict instructions to not open it until she had left the boundaries of 12WBT.

Sitting with  the chest was Sergeant JFDI, Nanny Nutrition, the recipes, Cyril De Scales, Measuring Tape, and Randy.  Weekly Surprise had opted to stay behind in 12 WBT land, to spread  her magic and excitement to another new 12WBTer.  Their parting was very sad.

I wonder what is in the chest? Kipwil thought and then turned back to the open road.

They arrived at the cottage and there was a flurry of activity in setting up home, settling everyone in and unpacking the car.  in no time at all, with so many helping hands, everything was stored away and neat and tidy.  Kipwil and Hubba Hubba sat in their front garden, enjoying the fragrant night air once the children had gone to sleep.

" I miss Queen Mish" Kipwil said sadly. " I miss my friends, I miss the workshop, I miss knowing there was always someone who could help me if we needed it."

" I'm here though Kipwil, " said Hubba Hubba gently, " and I won't let you down.  Have you looked inside your gift yet?"

Kipwil brightened.  She had forgotten about the treasure chest!  She went and retrieved it from the cottage and took it outside to Hubba Hubba. She opened it carefully, the lid swinging back on oiled hinges making not a sound.

The first thing she saw inside was a small, flat, black box.  It too had a lid and when she opened the lid, there before her was a small communication screen!  It pulsed blue for a second and then a message appeared.

"Hi Kipwil! I thought you might feel lonely on your travels so I have given you this gift to keep in contact with your friends you have made in 12 WBT land.  Some have stayed behind and some have moved on like yourself, but this will make it easier for you all to keep in touch and keep supporting each other! Well Done Kipwil, I am PROUD of you! love Queen Mish XX

Kipwil immediately started pressing buttons and her friends popped up on screen. She could still talk to her new friends!  Kipwil was ecstatic. They all immediately began making plans to meet at a common place to workout and chat together.

" What else is in there, babe?" Hubba Hubba asked when the chatting finally reached a dull roar.

Kipwil reached in and found a bundle of books. Nanny Nutrition bustled out of the house as Kipwil was lifting them from the chest.

" Ah, you've found them dear! I was wondering where they'd go. " She said cheerily.

" What are they, Nanny?" Kipwil asked.

" "This is Queen Mish's plan for you!  The whole of the past twelve weeks are in these books, detailing your eating and exercise.  Sergeant JFDI will be happy, he does like having a plan to work by!" Nanny replied.      " Now when you've finished looking at them, I'll just pop them into the house, shall I dear?"

Hubba Hubba looked at the books with Kipwil. 

" I'm going to do it too.  We'll do the same things and both get fit.  You've inspired me babe, and not just me." Hubba Hubba said giving her a kiss.

Kipwil smiled at him and passed the books to Nanny Nutrition, who was almost beside herself with Hubba Hubba's words. She immediately waddled purposefully into the kitchen and started planning  1200 calorie meals for Kipwil and 1800 calories meals for Hubba Hubba.  She was in seventh heaven.

Kipwil reached inside and drew out another flat object.  It was mapping materials and a calendar.  The message on the front said ' REMEMBER'

" Hubba Hubba, we have to make a map of our goals and mark out our workouts" Kipwil said. " All those things I did to be accepted into 12WBT, need to be done again.  That will set us up for the best outcome in our new home.  I can't wait to get started!"
